Nbdswapenable
IMPORTANT:
You must follow the directions HERE before enabling NBD_SWAP, as fixes to it have been applied to Ubuntu -updates repository (shouldn't be an issue in Intrepid most likely) and won't be available in Hardy stock LTSP chroot.
This page is dedicated to enabling and configuring NBD_SWAP (otherwise known as "network swap") for LTSP thin-clients. Pretty easy, just have to know the steps.
First, modify your /var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/i386/lts.conf file to reflect the following (in [default]):
NBD_SWAP = True
Second, create and/or modify /etc/ltsp/nbdswapd.conf to reflect the following:
SIZE=256
(or whatever size you want).
Reboot thin-clients, and enjoy creamy NBD_SWAP goodness.
